The Ways & Means Committee is excited about their current campaign entitled “50k for the 50th”. The goal is to raise $50,000 before the closing session of the Greenville Convention in April 2025. As a bonus, 10 individuals/couples have agreed to match those contributions, so this campaign has the potential to raise a total of $100,000 towards the Foundation.
The Foundation is an IRS 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. It was founded in 1992 and supports projects which protect the heritage of the activity and contribute to its growth, emphasizing the social, physical, and mental benefits of square dancing. The Foundation will also increase the public awareness of the activity by showing the fun and fellowship that makes square dancing a popular recreation.
