In 2024, the SSD, CDP and Challenge Programs underwent a Triennial Review.
SSD: There were no changes to the Social Square Dance Program.
CDP: There were no changes to the Community Dance Program.
Challenge:
The changes to C-1 are:
- Revised Chase Your Neighbor.
- Added Chase Your Cross Neighbor.
- Revised Step and Flip.
- Added Step and Squeeze.
- Changed <any tagging call> Back to a Wave to the <Tag> Back Family.
- Adjusted Vertical Tag and <anything> to a Wave to match the names in the new <Tag> Back Family.
- Capitalized call names, formation names and dancer designators throughout the document.
- Changed “setup” to “formation” where appropriate.
- Shortened some “Ocean Wave” references to “Wave”.
- Edited punctuation in Alter the Wave and Pass the Axle.
- Minor edits to Flip the Line.
The changes to C-2 are:
- Added Chase Your Criss Cross Neighbor.
- Changed Right / Left Loop 1, 2, 3 to be Right / Left / In / Out Loop <N>.
- Added Reverse Swap the Wave and revised Swap the Wave.
- Minor editing changes in Criss Cross the Shadow, Exchange the Diamond, Fascinate, Grand Chain Eight, Rotate, Truck, and Walk Out to a Wave.
- Capitalized call names, formation names and dancer designators throughout the document.
The changes to C-3A are:
- Add definition for Chase the Tag, with minor updates to other sections to mention its existence.
- Add definition for Mirror Concept and adjust the Left/Reverse preface accordingly.
- Minor changes to Tagging Call preface to reflect changes at C-1 (2024 Triennial Review).
- Correct capitalization of formation names, etc., throughout the document to conform to current document standards.
- Change “setup” to “formation” where appropriate.
- Remove redundant “Ocean” from “Ocean Wave.”
