CALLERLAB is pleased to announce that the Plus Committee has approved two key updates that will guide future instruction for the Plus Program.

1.  New Recommended Plus Teaching Order Adopted

Committee members voted to adopt an updated teaching order for the (new) Plus Program. This revised sequence is intended to support clearer, more consistent instruction for dancers and callers.

2.  Minimum Instructional Time Established

The committee also approved a new recommendation that the Plus Program calls be taught in no less than 40 hours of instruction (20 two-hour classes or 27 ninety-minute classes).

Next Steps

The new Plus List will take effect September 1, 2026.

The committee will now begin work on a new Plus Instructional Guide/Playbook to support callers in applying these updates.
