Chairman’s Award

The Chairman’s Award is given at the discretion of the Chairman. Sometimes it is given for a special project or to someone who has given of their time and tal[1]ent for a period of time during the past year or for any other reason deemed appropriate by the Chairman.
This year Tim Crawford made the following presentation:
“CALLERLAB is nothing but for it’s committee’s. And, so it is a committee’s chair that I find rising to top in my mind. I have been on the Board for six years, and EC for four, but all that time, plus another three years, this person has been a stable and guiding force to not only the most challenging committee, but also the largest we have in CALLERLAB. For almost nine years he steered the committee through turbulent times including both the merger of the Basic Program and the T2000 debate. It has not been an easy job, and at all times this person conducted himself with dignity and stability. Ladies and gentlemen, it gives me great pleasure to present the Chairman’s award to the retiring Mainstream Committee Chairman, Dana Schirmer.”
